Just Like Clockwork

Our feelings, along with our thoughts, tell our mind what our body needs. Negative feelings show us unresolved conflicts. They can also simulate a situation that is not happening, but it is so real in our mind that it makes the brain think it is actually happening.

If our feelings are negative, our brain gets negative messages and sends chemicals to treat those negative issues. This causes damage to some of our physical organs, even though nothing is actually wrong.

For instance, we may feel stress from imagined danger. Our mind sends chemicals to fight or to flee from the danger. There is no real danger, so this unnecessary surge of chemicals cause us to develop chronic illnesses.

Every beat of our heart sends electromagnetic frequencies and laser-like emissions of light from our heart to our DNA in our body; so that we can adapt to or overcome issues in our environment (Isaiah 58:8).

If we only treat the physical symptoms, which present at any given moment in our life, we are still sick from the cause of those symptoms; and in many cases the medication causes new illnesses from their side-effects.

Pharmaceuticals, which we take (pharmaceuticals from the root word pharmakeia meaning "sorcery" - Strongs 5331), rarely if ever heal the root cause of our illnesses, and open us up to other diseases caused by the medication.

Yet, if we treat our negative thoughts and feelings (Biblical counseling), spine (chiropractor), kidney and gastroenterological issues (eat organic and take supplements our body lacks) and restore these four entities to function positively, we are healed from most of our diseases.

We can listen to sage advice from other people who have been healed from diseases with which we currently live. We can change our lifestyle from one of sin and convenience to a spiritual side and a holistic approach with organic food and supplements.

Our convenience and processed foods, along with genetically modified foods, antibiotics and pesticides are often the culprits making us ill. As we walk in the Holy Spirit, and listen to His advice, He teaches us what we are doing that is making us sick and what to do in order to walk in health.

God wants only the best for us; and He will lead us to read articles or books, to meet people and learn wisdom from them in order to help us to overcome our negative lifestyle in our habits, thoughts, words and deeds. Then we can enjoy a life complete in Christ, just like clockwork (Colossians 2:10).

Prayer:
Father God, we are more wondrously and intricately made than we ever realized (Psalm 139:14). The parts of our body are inter-related and inter-connected with the same precision as our solar system; each part intricately dependent on each other part to function at optimal level. Lead us to the functional medical practitioners that will truly help us to heal, rather than incorrectly prescribing medication that may remove a symptom, but ultimately cause side-effects which will complicate our bad health.

Teach us to eat foods in the ways that You designed for us, in as pure an environment as we can attain on this sin-cursed earth. Ultimately, however, we place our trust in Your Spirit within us to lead us to reduce illness, repair bodily functions and walk in ultimate mental, emotional and spiritual health until You see fit to take us home. We look forward to our reunion with You in Heaven (Psalm 116:15).

Thought for the Day:
Jesus spent His last three years on earth traversing through cities and villages; teaching, preaching the Kingdom of God, healing sickness and disease; and having compassion for the multitudes of weary masses who were scattered without a shepherd. - Matthew 9:35-36

Three Types of Death

I was organizing my vitamin supplements and filling my two week pill box with each vitamin and mineral that I take either morning or night or both. I started to include the Vitamin D that the doctor prescribed for me a few years ago due to the lack of sunlight that I get in my daily routine.

I have faithfully taken it ever since; but...God's Spirit told me not to put it in my box of supplements this time. I was incredulous and argued with the Spirit (yeah, I still do that occasionally!) I felt so strongly that I should not include this healthful vitamin that I had to quit arguing and agree to obey.

Then God's Spirit told me to look at the ingredients of the capsule. This particular brand had the vitamin D encased in corn oil, which is one substance that causes a leaky gut. I am healing from this malady and have to be extra careful with corn oil.

I was so amazed that God is so minute in His love and direction that He even guides our paths concerning the toxins we unknowingly include in our diet. God is so worthy of all of our praise for the way He guides our steps and cares about every issue of our life (Proverbs 3:5-6; 1 Peter 5:7).

As I thanked Him for His direction, God focused my attention to the concept of life and death. I did some research and realized that there are three areas of death that every human experiences.

The first is that our spirit is dead in trespasses and sins until we choose to accept Christ's atoning work on Calvary's cross (Ephesians 2:1-5). This provides us with salvation and the regeneration of our spirit (John 3:16-18). We are actually Born Again and alive in Christ in our spirit.

The second area of death is our physical death at some point in time, which results in an eternity either in heaven or hell. We are free from sin and death by our belief in Christ, or we condemn our self to an eternity in hell by our unbelief (John 3:18).

The third area of death is our soul's death through sanctification, which releases us from slavery to sin and destruction (Romans 8:2). Our soul - our thoughts, choices and emotions - is gradually changed over the course of our life to mirror Christ's divine nature (2 Peter 1:4). We slowly die to self and are more and more alive in Christ (Ephesians 2:5; Galatians 2:20).

Prayer:
Father God, most people fear death. We have never experienced it before and we fear the unknown quality of death. We anticipate pain, and we worry about our eternal destination. Yet, in You there is no concern. Our last breath on earth is followed by our next breath in heaven. You delight in the death of Your Saints (Psalm 116:15).

As Solomon concluded, "The day of our death is better than the day of our birth." (Ecclesiastes 7:1) Authentic Born Again Believers look forward to joining You for eternity once we leave this world behind. Help us to win as many people to faith in Christ as will receive Him - with open hearts, eyes, ears and minds - before it is too late.

Thought for the Day:
God guides our steps throughout our life and welcomes us with open arms into eternity with Him; He delights over us with singing. - Zephaniah 3:17

In Constant Union with Christ

Here is a fun exercise for you. Whenever you remove produce from your grocery bag or eat the fruit from a vine, remember that you too are a branch on the Vine, producing similar fruit for God’s Kingdom. Let it remind you that we are as dependent on the Vine as the vegetable or fruit was, which you are preparing to eat.

God grafts us into the Vine of Christ when we humble our self and admit that we need Jesus as our Savior. We are reciprients of the work of Christ on Calvary’s cross. He is our Vine, and we are His branches. A vine takes the nutrients from the soil and sends them to the branches. Our Vine separates the nutrients from the compost of life and sends it directly to our spirit.

The branch does not walk off by itself, but is absolutely dependent on the Vine. All Born Again Believers have this same constant union with our Vine. Nothing can separate us from the love of God (Romans 8:31-39). The sap never, ever stops flowing into the branch. It provides everything we need for every moment of our life. This is the secret of our true success.

Branches participate in this process too. We have the leaves, which  take time to bask in the Son and collect the nutrients from His presence. We reflect His beauty and holiness to the world around us. If the branch gets the idea it does not need the Vine, it will wither and die. The Holy Spirit uses the fruit of the Vine, which grows in our life, to benefit those who need the life of Christ within us.

Prayer:
Father God, You are our Vinedresser. You protect us from disease, insect invaders and scorching trials, which Satan sends into our life. You provide the supplements we need to grow into vibrant branches on the Vine of Your Son. You make us fruitful (Galatians 5:22-23) in order to bless those You bring our way. Send people to pick the fruit You produce in our life and remind us to generously share Your work in our life with them.

Thought for the Day:
We abide in the Vine in total dependence. Apart from Him, we can do nothing. - John 15:5
