A Changed Life

 https://static.pexels.com/photos/3331/meadow-spring-dandelion.jpg

Would you like to have your life changed? As a Born Again Believer, we have the Holy Spirit present in us to fill us with all the fullness of God. This is the key to walking in Serenity.

We fall to our knees and pray to our Father God, the Creator of everything in Heaven and on earth. We pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources that He will empower us with inner strength through His Spirit.

This allows Jesus Christ to make His home in our heart as we totally trust in Him. Our roots grow deeper in God's love and this keeps us strong in body, soul and spirit.

We empty our self of the inner clutter caused by our overly committed lives. We can journal until we are totally void of self and totally filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:14).

He gives us the power to understand the root of the issues in our life as well as the wisdom of His Word. We bask in the width, length, depth and heights of His love for us.

We experience the love of Christ, although it is hard for us to fathom how He can love us so completely and deeply, even in the minutest details of our life.

God fills our spirit and soul to the brim with His life, wisdom and power. We can dwell in this inner sanctum within His divine presence in us all through the day.

We no longer feel the need to worry and stress over the issues in this world, because we are not really part of it any more. We are hidden with Christ in God (Colossians 3:3).

Prayer:
Father God, our mind is quick to fill with worry and clutter with each sunrise. Thank You for helping us not to allow the pressures and distractions of this world to monopolize our attention. We no longer want to run full speed ahead all day long and then fall into bed at night too exhausted to spend time with You or in reading Your Word.

Yet, Your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23), and we can learn to access them in Your presence within us. Draw us close to You and keep us in the center of Your will. Remove any Satanic strongholds that prevent us from growing in Your grace and keep us safely tucked under the shadow of Your wings until we come to spend eternity with You.

Thought for the Day:
At times the cacophony of life prevents us from hearing the voice of our beloved, Jesus Christ; but God wants to fill us through all of our being with all of His fullness, so that we can experience for our self the richest measure of His presence and become a body wholly filled with God Himself.
- Ephesians 3:19 Amplified Bible

United with Christ - A Healthy Spirit-filled Life

As Born Again Believers, we are filled throughout our entire body, soul and spirit with all of God’s fullness. We possess the richest measure of His divine presence within us and we are wholly filled and flooded to overflowing with God Himself (Ephesians 3:16-19, Amplified Bible).

We are united with Christ in the very spiritual fiber of our being (Hebrews 4:12). He provides us with everything we need to live a healthy, Spirit-filled life.

Then, His Spirit infiltrates the joints of our soul – our thoughts, choices and emotions - to operate on our carnality while He plants His fruit within us (Hebrews 4:12).

Paul counted all of his worldly possessions and gain as lost when compared to the joy of his salvation and the riches he received from intimately knowing Christ (Philippians 3:7-11).

God gives this same resurrection life to lost sinners who humble themselves and surrender their life to Him (John 19:10-11). We are liberated from living in this earthly realm, even though we physically continue to dwell here (Galatians 2:20).

In this same way, we detach from our connection to this world, even the good parts of life, which hinder our walk with God, such as extended family, houses and lands – in order to obtain the better blessings provided for us by Christ in us (Luke 14:23-33; Philippians 3:10).

We realize that even the worst of adversity in our life ultimately comes from God to perfect our soul and to provide for us everything that we need to live Godly in Christ Jesus (Hebrews 11:32-34; Job 1:8, 2:3).

Prayer:
Father God, we knock on doors and invite our neighbors to church. We pray for them and for everyone You bring to our mind. We listen to Your Spirit and obey His promptings throughout our day. We shed Your light within us for all the world around us to see, so they may live with us in eternity as the redeemed of the Lord (Psalm 107:2).

You bore our sins in Your body on the cross; so that we too can die to sin and live righteously and victoriously, just as You did (1 Peter 2:24). You take priority in our heart over all other aspects of life (1 Corinthians 9:22). We give You all the praise and glory and honor due Your name (Psalm 96:8).

Thought for the Day:
God elected us as His holy and saintly priests, because we are His special possession created to declare His praises to a lost and dying world around us. - 1 Peter 2:9

God's Fullness - His Presence Within

We have the opportunity to enjoy the richest measure of God's presence in our life. He is already there, but we often ignore Him, or fail to seek Him out more than during a few moments of devotion a day.

God wants to fill us with all of His fullness. He desires to flood our entire body, soul and spirit with the richest measure of His Presence (Ephesians 3:16-20, Amplified Bible).

He starts to work in us the moment we come to Him for salvation. Then He commissions us to carry out His purpose in our life (Ephesians 2:10).

God wants to do more for us and in us than we could ever imagine, dream, desire or hope. He will do it too, if we simply surrender every area of our life to Him.

He not only gives us strength to live each day, but He also fortifies that strength with all the unrestricted resources and mighty power available to us through His Holy Spirit, who is abiding in our body, His Temple (1 Corinthians 6:19; Philippians 2:12-13; Ephesians 3:16).

Jesus Christ actually lives in our spirit by our faith in His finished work on Calvary's Cross, so that the love of God will firmly unite us to Him with its power (Ephesians 3:17).

Our life will follow God's path of fulfillment, and we will receive God's intense and continual love from Him, His Body and our family and friends, who He brings into our life.

Our sinful desires melt away like wax. We cannot boast in the presence of God, because we do not earn it, it is a free gift (Psalm 68:2; 1 Corinthians 1:29). We reverence His presence in our life and value Him and His Word more than all the riches of this world (Psalm 19:10).

Prayer:
Father God, the power and authority of Christ increases in us as we decrease the hold we have over our life; so help us to totally surrender to and trust in You. You promise never to leave or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). You will continually abide in us regardless of our thoughts, words or actions, even though w e may grieve Your Spirit.

Over the years of our service to You, make Your presence more real to us each day and help us to abide in You each moment of our day (John 15:4-5). Help us to send the roots of our faith deeper into Your love, so that we can willingly serve You with our whole life.

Thought for the Day:
God gives us the richest portion of His love, and fills us completely with His divine presence; flooding every fiber of our body, soul and spirit with Himself.
- Ephesians 3:19, Amplified
