A Whole New Life

Black and Teal Mountain

Christ in us gives us the power to understand the root of the issues in our life, as well as the wisdom of His Word and the instruction of His Spirit to change them. We bask in the width, length, depth and heights of His love for us (Romans 8:35-39).

Although it is hard for us to fathom how He can love us so completely and deeply in the minutest details of our life, even when we fail Him, we continually experience the love of Christ. He loves us, even when we still have a tendency to sin (Romans 5:8).

God fills our spirit and soul to the brim with His life, wisdom and power. As we obey the promptings of His Spirit's instruction, we can dwell in this inner sanctum within His divine presence in us all through the day and night (Isaiah 30:21).

Would you like to have this new life? As a Born Again Believer, we have the Holy Spirit present in us to fill us with all the fullness of God. His presence gives us many advantages, and is the key to walking in Serenity moment by moment throughout the day.

We fall to our knees and pray to our Father God, the Creator of everything in Heaven and on earth. We pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources that He will empower us with inner strength through His Spirit.

Then we pray without ceasing as we go about our daily duties by the direction of His Spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:17). As we navigate through God's plan for our day, this allows Jesus Christ to make His home in our heart as we totally trust in Him.

We empty our self of the inner chaos caused by our overly committed lives. We can even journal our cluttered thoughts and feelings, until we are totally void of our cares and anxiety, and are totally filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:14).

Then, we clear our cluttered schedule and do only that which God directs. We will no longer feel the need to worry and stress over the issues in this world, because we are not really part of it any more. We are hidden with Christ in God, both now and for all of eternity (Colossians 3:3).

Prayer:
Father God, Your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23), and we can learn to access them through Your presence within us. When our mind is quick to fill with worry and clutter with each new sunrise, help us to trust in You today and always.

Thank You for helping us not to allow the pressures and distractions of this world to monopolize our attention. We no longer want to run full speed ahead all day long, and then fall into bed at night too exhausted to spend time with You or in reading Your Word. We love You and praise You with every fiber of our being.

Thought for the Day:
At times the cacophony of life prevents us from hearing the voice of our beloved, Jesus Christ; but God wants to fill us through all of our being with all of His fullness, so that we can experience for our self the richest measure of His presence and become a body wholly filled with God Himself.
