Nothing is Too Hard

Read: Jeremiah 32:17-28;36-50

"Is anything too hard for the Lord?” - Genesis 18:14 (KJV)

I often grumble to the Lord when events in my life spiral out of my control. I fail to see God's hand in the situation until He puts the final pieces of the puzzle in place. Then I understand His reasons for everything He required of me. I often end up sitting back and chuckling at His goodness, grace, endless patience and abundant provision in my life.

Jeremiah did this too. He bought a piece of land that God instructed him to acquire, even though to him there was no logic in the request at all. He even questioned God's wisdom in prompting him to make such a senseless purchase.

In the end, God used Jeremiah's land to remind the whole nation of Israel, that God would forgive their faithlessness and once again restore to them the Promised Land. God sees the end from the beginning. He knows how the future will play out, because He dwells in eternity instead of in time. It is during the trials in our life that we can trust God the most, because there is nothing too hard for our God to accomplish.

Prayer:
Lord, remind us to put our life firmly in Your Hands, to obey Your direction and to trust the outcome to Your faithfulness. Help us not to forget,  like the Israelites did, that You provide for us time and again. Help us to walk moment by moment under the direction of Your Spirit and to look for the miracle hidden in every fiery trial.

Thought for the Day:
Even when our path is darkened by negative circumstances, God's light still shows us the way.
