Are
you in excruciation pain, have burdensome grief, suffer from abuse or
persecution, have constant trials to contend with in life, etc.? There is hope.
God wants to intervene on your behalf. Have you ever trusted God for some issue
in your life?
Our
Daddy God wants to help us all the time - even when a jar will not open
regardless of all of efforts, when we face threatening weather conditions, when
a loved one is ill, when we cannot find a personal hygiene item that works for
us, when we need a parking space and cannot find one, etc.
God
says to call on Him for help in any time of trouble, no matter how simple or
traumatic it may be. He delights in solving our problems, supplying our needs,
proving His faithfulness to us and getting the glory for every good and perfect
gift which He provides (John 9:3).
We
may break a bone, and have to wait the normal time for healing, but He can take
away the pain instantly. He may heal the entire wound instantly. He does
everything for His glory, and we are willing collaborators to His plans.
There
are many idols in this world, but only one true God (1 Corinthians 8:4). We
have freedom in Christ to do God's will, but not to continue in sin. God gives
us the commission to share His Gospel of Jesus in order to give others the
opportunity to come to Christ as well (1 Corinthians 9:12, 19, 22-23).
God
does all things well in His timing and way. His plans may not be our idea of
the way to meet our need, but we usually find that we are happier and more
fulfilled, once we see His plan unfold, than we would have been attempting to
meet our need our own way.

Prayer:
Father
God, remind us that although we are free in Christ, not every activity in life
will build us up. Help us not to seek our own benefit only, but the blessing of
everyone in our life and to love our self and others as Christ loves us (1
Corinthians 10:23-24).
We receive Your blessings by Your hand, and cooperate with You to love others (1 Timothy 4:4-5; 1 Corinthians 10:31). Remind us to make You our first priority in our life, to put our family second only to You, and to serve You in the ministry in which You gift us to function in the Body Life.

Thought for the Day:
Whatever
we do, even when it is as simple as what we eat and drink, we do for God's
glory; otherwise, our behavior could destroy a person's faith in God, or ruin
Jesus' reputation among the unsaved community around us.
