Surrounded by God's Love

Body of Water Under Blue Sky

God has our best interest at heart, and He causes everything in our life to work out for our ultimate good (Romans 8:28). Our trials may seem horrific when we are walking through them, unless we keep our focus on our God who never, ever leaves or forsakes us (Hebrews 13:5).

We cause our own problems, at times, because we make our own plans and never consult the Lord for His will for each moment of our day. If we will call out to God before we ever rise from our pillow each new morning, He will advise us about what to do first with our day (Proverbs 3:5-6; Psalm 143:8-10).

God established all of our steps before we ever took one of them (Ephesians 2:10; Romans 8:28). As we trust only in Him, no circumstance can separate us from His great love, regardless of the outcome (Proverbs 16:9; Romans 8:35-39).

We may grieve losses from the trial, but His love sustains us, His Word encourages and inspires us, and His Spirit sanctifies us through each issue. As we spend time seeking Him, He will surround us with His unwavering love (Ephesians 3:18; Psalm 143:8).

God is holy, yet gracious and merciful (Psalm 135:3). He loves us with an unending love; and with His loving kindness, He draws us to Himself (Jeremiah 31:3). No power in the spiritual or natural world can separate us from His love, which is in Jesus, our Lord (Romans 8:38-39).

God's love for us does not cease when our life ends; His love is everlasting. He stands on the "porch" of heaven like the father in the parable of the prodigal son, and watches for our return home to His loving embrace and blessings (Luke 15:11-32).

Prayer:
Father God, nothing in life - past, present or future - can separate us from Your all-inclusive love. Your love is greater than any human love that could ever exist, and You sustain us in Your everlasting arms regardless of our circumstances. When we take the time to notice, Your love falls all around us like a waterfall.

You pour out Your all-consuming love on anyone humble enough to repent of our sins and to call out to Jesus to commute His saving grace on our behalf, as well as to those who walk in Your ways (John 14:15). Regardless of what we face in life, You have already overcome a similar issue, and You are right there with us and in us giving us the victory.

Thought for the Day:
God's love, which sustains us through every moment of the day, started while we were still unrepentant sinners, and walking outside of His will for our life; no trial is too strong, no endeavor too difficult, no future event too insurmountable, and no demonic influence, governmental decree, mistake on our part, person, place or thing can cause God's love for us to waver.
