Verdant hay
fields stretch out as far as the eye can see, and soon stately corn stalks and
tall wheat plants will join them as they all wave their praises to our Creator
God. That is the Heartland of the USA.
Whale songs and dolphin
clicks fill the oceans, ape and baboon and gibbon calls, along with tiger
growls and bird chatter, filter through the branches of thick jungles as they
join in the symphony meant to worship our Heavenly Father (Psalm 69:34).
The trees clap
their hands as the wind whistles through their branches (Isaiah 14:8, 55:12; 1
Chronicles 16:33; Psalm 96:12,). The hills and meadows clothe themselves with
rejoicing; they break forth with joyful singing (Psalm 65:12-13).
The mountains
sing together in harmony, and rivers also clap their hands (Psalm 98:8, 148:9).
The wilderness, desert and flowers all blossom in joy to our Father God (Isaiah
35:1).
Then, when stars
give out their sounds, added to other nature sounds, their praises to God are
continual and mesmerizing. Copy and paste this link into your browser, and you

Jesus stated
that if humans fail to praise Him, even the rocks will cry out (Luke 19:40).
How can we allow inanimate objects to take our place in giving glory to His
Majesty on high?
The King of all
kings, the Lord of all lords, the Creator, the Alpha and Omega, and the great I
AM is the only One worthy of all praise with every draft of air that we breathe
(Psalm 105:43).
Prayer:
Father God, we
are humbled when we read from multiple Biblical authors, and hear the recording
by Louie Giglio, that creation is constantly praising You. Yet, we humans, the
part of Your creation that You care about the most (Matthew 6:26), pursue our
own agenda with our human efforts, and rarely give You a thought during our
day.
Remind us to
encourage our soul to bless Your holy name in all that we think, feel and do.
We praise You for forgiving our sins, providing us with so many benefits, and healing
our diseases (Psalm 103:1-5). We want to sing praises to You all day and night
long, and we come before Your presence with joyfully songs (Psalm 100:1-4). We
give thanks to You, Lord, with our whole heart (Psalm 111:1, 138:1-2).
Thought for the
Day:
The Lord is
great and highly deserving of all of our praise; we will bless His name all
day, every day and night that we live, as well as forever and ever in eternity.
- Psalm 14:1-3, 146:1-2
