In
this world, we will have tribulation. Sometimes, it is so intense that it feels
like our heart will fail us due to the horrendous fear with which we are
living.
God
is our only true strength in times like these. He fortifies our heart and
provides for our needs. We can trust in Him, and we will sing His praises and
testify to His provision at the end of every trial (Psalm 73:24-28).
God
justifies us, sanctifies and will eventually glorify us through Christ. No one
can condemn us, because Christ redeemed us by His own precious blood.
He
sits at the right hand of our Father God and makes intercession for us. Nothing
can separate us from His love, because He loves us with an everlasting love
(Romans 8:33-39).
We
enter this world with a spirit dead in Adam's sin and a soul influenced by the
prince of this world. If we leave this world as an unbeliever, we inherit
eternal damnation.
However,
if we enter eternity as an authentic Believer in Jesus Christ, we gain the
crown of glory, which He procured for us on Calvary's cross, and we inherit the
Kingdom of God as co-heirs with Jesus.
We
no longer depend on our flesh as our main resource. We confess our self-dependence,
reliance, consciousness, and centeredness as sin; and instead, we rely only on
God's Son and Spirit within us.
We
are the temple of God's Spirit and a branch securely fixed to the vine of
Christ. We are inseparable from them and we rely solely on them for our daily
needs.
Prayer:
Father
God, thank You for making us Your vessel of honor through Jesus and for
delivering us from a life as Satan's vessel of dishonor. We totally surrender
our lives to You and we want to walk only in Your will for each moment of our
day. Use us for Your glory to advance Your Kingdom in the earth, and fill us
with Your Spirit's wisdom and power to guide us through each new day.
We
live a life of thanksgiving for all You do for us and we give you all of the
praise and glory that is due to Your name. You sent us Your perfect lamb, that
Lion of Judah, the Rose of Sharon for our redemption and sanctification and we
can never thank You enough.
Thought
for the Day:
Though
we once walked in darkness, we now walk in the Light of Christ; and we no
longer rely on our flesh to earn our place in God's family, but in Christ
alone.
