Freedom from Demonic Darkness

Green Grass Field and Green Tress during Day Time

Satan has no power over authentic Believers that we do not grant to him, or that God does not allow. However, demonic darkness interrupts our nightly dreams, as well as our daily walk with the Lord.

Demonic oppression stalls our forward progress in spiritual maturity and influences our relationships and job performance. As Born Again Believers, we do not have to allow our self to reap the destruction of Satan and his forces.

We have the power within us through Jesus Christ to withstand his onslaughts. We are prisoners in this world and to our past trauma and mistakes, until we humbly surrender to God's will for each moment of our day.

He makes us bondservants in His Kingdom, and showers us with His continual blessings in this life and the next. As the cornerstone of His Church, Jesus keeps us aligned with His power and grace as we walk in God's Will for us.

God's Spirit directs our spirit and perfects our soul. When we journal our true thoughts and feelings, we see clearly the areas of our life that are bothering us and keeping us mired down in the mud of this world.

God helps us to mend broken relationships, heals our wounds from the past, and He reveals the footholds into our life that we are still providing for Satan.

He strengthens our faith in His faithfulness, uses us to encourage others, and helps us to let go of our dependence on our human resources and to cling to God's love, direction and provision.

We start to heal as God brings us freedom in every area of our life. We recognize sins that are keeping us in bondage to the devil's influence, and we withstand temptation with more victory.

Prayer:
Father God, You show us the trauma and issues of our past, which affect our every waking moment, in order to stop the devil's advantage over us. He does not stop attacking us just because we trusted You for salvation. We still believe his lies and they must be dispelled by Your TruthThis is all part of our sanctifying process. Help us to face each incident that You reveal to us.

Remind us to sit quietly in persevering prayer until we hear Your Truth. You are always ready, willing and able to help us to change our focus and to restore that part of our past to Your domain. Each time You set us free, our faith in Your faithfulness increases and our domination by Satan's lies decreases. Thank You for setting us free in soul and spirit. We look forward to our immortal body once we see Jesus.

Thought for the Day:
Once we surrender our carnality to God's Spirit, He replaces it with His fruit, and the mind and divine character of Christ.
