The more that we reflect the glory of the Lord from
within us, the more peace and joy that we enjoy on a daily basis. The aspects
of life on this earth are only temporary; but the unseen issues that we accept
by faith are eternal (2 Corinthians 4:18).
Our perspective about trials change as we realize that
God uses them to work out His will for our life. He may also use them to sculpt
His character out of our carnal nature. His Spirit is conforming our mind to
the mind of Christ (Romans 12:2).
The outcome of our trails is that God uses them to build
our faith in His faithfulness. If we lived on a cloud without a care in the
world, we would never realize the enormity of God's blessings for us on a daily
basis.
However, when we experience negative consequences, we can
then better appreciate God's actions of love and kindness toward us. A key
revelation in our times of tribulation is to look for the seed for a miracle,
which God plants in every negative experience (Romans 8:28).
Once we change our perspective about adverse
circumstances, our goal in life changes from one of serving our self to one of
serving our Lord and King, Jesus Christ. We look forward to Him taking up
rulership of the nations of the world with all authority of the government on
His shoulders (Isaiah 9:6).
Prayer:
Father God, each new morning is the stage on which You
craft Your will for our day. We look forward to these opportunities to see what
You have in store for us during this new day. We delight in Your amazing ways,
and we embrace Your future plans for our life (Ephesians 2:10). We continually
desire more intimacy with You during every step we take.
We love You more than our life itself and we embrace Your
will for us during each today and tomorrow.
We look forward to participating in Your divine appointments, which You
create to use us to lead others to Your path of righteousness; so they too may
enjoy Your multitude of blessings in their life as well.
Thought for the Day:
Until the Lord returns, we can make the most of our life
by surrendering all to Him and by walking by His Spirit in His will each moment
of our life; we have this confidence in Him, because He is our God, and we are
His people. - Psalm 95:7
