A Level Path on Which to Live

There is only one pathway to eternal bliss and that is through Jesus Christ. He shed His blood to purchase our salvation for us and to remove all sin from our record - past, present and future.

Once the Trinity moves in to our spirit, there is no more room for evil to survive. We find less pleasure in sin and the things of this world. Jesus is our whole life (Colossians 3:3-4).

His promises are true, He stabilizes our life, and He is permanent and unchangeable (Hebrews 13:5-8). He gives us a level path on which to live, in spite of our enemies and life's trials (Psalm 23:3).

We access His power in our spirit to bring stability to our soul - to our thoughts, choices and emotions (Psalm 23:3). He floods our soul with His peace, joy, grace, strength and love. He generously supplies all of our needs day or night (Philippians 4:19).

Our Father God graciously removes all negative thoughts and emotions from our life. Insecurity, loneliness, depression, anxiety and worry are short-lived in our soul now, because He abides in us with all of His wisdom and power.

We focus on His goodness and abundant love, and nothing in this world or in our flesh can bless us with this type of guilt-free pleasure. He is our glorious joy (1 Peter 1:8).

He navigates for us in uncharted waters, gives us divine appointments throughout our life to influence others to believe in Him too, and causes His light to come flooding in during our times of darkest trials (Isaiah 42:16; Psalm 37:5).

Prayer:
Father God, thank You for teaching us to discern Your voice in the sea of voices in our mind. You strengthen us to follow Your leading and to appreciate Your shepherding in our life. You make our position secure and no one or no issue can snatch us from Your hand (John 10: 27-29).

Your sanctifying work in our soul, takes our responsibility to "be good" and puts it squarely in Your capable hands (Philippians 2:12-13). As we totally submit to Your love and grace and mercy, You cause us to bear the fruit of Your salvation in our life - made possible for us by Jesus' sacrifice on Calvary's cross (John 3:16-18; Galatians 2:20). We praise You all of the days of our life.

Thought for the Day:
Jesus gave us the gift of redemption through His blood (Ephesians 1:7), and the ability and His strength to accomplish anything He calls us to do (Philippians 4:13); therefore, we walk in the truth of our position as co-heirs with Jesus and recipients of God's goodness toward us (Hebrew 12:28).
