God’s Everlasting Care for Us

 Brown Landscape Under Grey Sky

God is within us and going through troubled seas right along with us. His presence sustains us and turns our trials into adventures with a seed for a miracle planted within each one. He is such a loving and amazing Daddy God. His care for us is everlasting, and His love for us in unconditional.

Satanic forces attempt to discourage us with lies that God does not love us, could never love us because of our past behavior, that unbelievers are more blessed and successful than believers etc. We do not need to allow these lies to rob us of God’s best for us or to drown us in negative emotions.

God offers everyone eternal life that starts at the moment of our conversion (John 3:16-18). There is a huge difference between conviction and conversion. Many people are convicted of their sins, some of them pray a prayer for salvation and some of them even get baptized, but there is no spiritual fruit in their future life (Galatians 5:22-23).

If we cry out to God, He always hears and rescues us, and continually delivers us through trials (Psalm 18:6, 34:6, 118:5). Satan tries to discourage, defeat, and divide us from God, but as we draw near and submit to God and then resist Satan, he has to flee from us (James 4:7).

Prayer that includes listening to God is our best defense and protection against satanic lies, worldly rhetoric, and the carnal desires of our flesh. Spiritual pursuits do not shield us from adversity, but they allow us to learn to trust God in the midst of every difficulty.

When we do the will of God for our life without becoming weary in doing good, we receive the fulfillment of all God’s promises (Hebrews 10:35-36; Galatians 6:9). We trust in Him with our whole heart, rather than relying on our human resources, and He directs our paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Prayer:

Father God, help us not to attempt to figure everything out, but to trust that You know the why’s and wherefores of life and have a plan and purpose for them all. Your thoughts and ways are beyond human reasoning, and You have plans for us that are for our ultimate good (Isaiah 55:8-9; Romans 8:28; Jeremiah 29:11). Teach us to follow Your voice rather than our own desires and human wisdom, or the philosophies of this world.

Help us to trust in You with all our heart, not to depend on our own finite reasoning, and to seek Your Will for us each moment of the day so You can show us the way to go (Proverbs 3:5-6). Remind us that a proud heart brings destruction to us, but humility and submission to Your plans for us bring us honor, which we can turn back to You in praise (Proverbs 18:12).

Thoughts for the Day:

God blesses us when we walk in His paths for us, but He cannot bless us when we disregard His plans. Rather than to feel disappointed in God and rage against Him when things do not go our way, or end the way we expect them to, we acknowledge that our own mistaken choices often lead us to reap unpleasant results, that death is not the end but the beginning of a whole new world, and that trials are simply challenges in which God will enable us to succeed.
