God’s Amazing Grace

God’s Amazing Grace is given to everyone to help us to walk in joy through our ordeals of affliction, trials, grief, and poverty. This allows us to overflow in our liberality, obedience to God’s Spirit, and our ability to serve Him beyond our human ability (2 Corinthians 8:1-5).

We remain obedient to the Lord our God, walk in His ways, trust in His timing, and keep His decrees, statutes, ordinances, and testimonies. This provides us with success in everything He leads us to do for His name’s sake. He carries out His promises to us as we walk before Him in truth and give Him our whole heat and soul (1 Kings 2:3-4; Deuteronomy 5:32-33).

Grace enables us to rejoice in hope, persevere in tribulation, and remain in prayer to our faithful God throughout it all (Romans 12:12). The whole earth and all of creation belong to the Lord, and our only wise choice in life is to heed His voice, and to follow His peace in our spirit (Exodus 19:5).

When we walk in His ways and love, and we serve Him with our life, then all is well with us and we prolong our life on this earth (Deuteronomy 10:12-13, 29:9). In our faithful trust in the Lord, we are His Bride, and we have an intimate union with Him through all our days (Hosea 2:20; Isaiah 54:5).

When we think we have life figured out and we have everything in our control, we often fall into temptations. However, when we rely on the Lord, He provides us with a way to avoid this sinful plot laid before us, so we can stand against it even if our human ability to withstand it is weak (1 Corinthians 1o:12-13).

Jesus, our High Priest, sympathizes with our weaknesses, because as He dwelt on the earth, He was also tempted in every way that we are tempted, yet without giving in to sin. Now, we can draw near to His throne of grace with confidence and receive His mercy and help in every time of need (Hebrews 4:14-16).

Prayer:

Father God, thank You for Your grace that enables us to walk away from our false gods and our reliance on human talents and abilities, and to place our trust solely in You. We always want to walk in Your name and to trust in You forever and ever (Micah 4:5). We never want to cease from revering You and serving You in sincerity and truth (Joshua 24:14-15).

Remind us to hold tightly to our confession of hope in You without doubting and wavering, not because of our human resources, but because of Your faithful promises to us (Hebrews 10:23). We may even suffer according to Your will; yet, we continue to entrust our spirit and soul into Your faithful hands, because You always do what is best for us (1 Peter 4:19).

Thoughts for the Day:
The Lord is God over all the earth, our faithful God who keeps His covenant with His Saints. For those who keep His commandments and love Him with our whole heart, He will showers us and thousands of our generations after us with His love, kindness, provision, and presence.

- Deuteronomy 7:9
