Hopeful Promises

Tears cleanse our soul, lighten our load of sorrow, remind us to call out to the Lord, and lessen our grief over time; so, grab the box of tissues and get healthy in body, soul, and spirit. There is no shame in tears or mourning. God collects all our tears in His bottle (Psalm 56:8-11).

He is faithful to plant us in a fertile garden and to keep us from evil (2 Thessalonians 3:3) When we honor Him with our life and obey His commandments, He even provides for our children (Psalm 103:17-18, 105:8; Exodus 20:6; Deuteronomy 7:9). His promises are always positive, and they fill us with hope (2 Corinthians 1:20-22).

This world, our flesh, and satanic forces desperately attempt to move us toward the wide path of destruction (Matthew 7:13-14), but due to the mercies of God, we are not consumed by the lies they plant in our soul. God’s faithful compassion never fail us; in fact, it is new every single morning (Lamentations 3:22-23).

God is always generous to those who quietly and patiently seek Him, hope in Him, and wait on Him (Lamentations 3:24-25). He is our God, and we praise and exalt His name for who He is, and for His wondrous gifts in our life. His ancient Biblical words are eternally faithful and trustworthy (Isaiah 25:1; 1 Thessalonians 5:24).

God’s grace keeps us connected with Him forever, and we can count on His commitment to us (Psalm 89:28). Therefore, due to His faithfulness and love, we can unwaveringly cling to our testimony of faith in Him (Hebrews 89:28). Our love for Him and our dedication to Him grows with each passing moment.

Prayer:

Father God, we are so grateful to You for Your eternal presence in and all around our life. Your multi-dimensional love covers us around, behind, across, above, below, and within (Ephesians 3:18; James 31:2-4). When we persevere through life’s trials, You walk in us, with us, and through us. With Your united presence in us, we stand firmly on the Rock of Christ during times of testing (James 1:12; 1 Corinthians 10:4).

We appreciate You giving the overcomers Your crown of life (James 1:12; 2 Timothy 4:8). Your mercy sustains us because Your faithfulness reaches all the way to the clouds (Psalm 36:5). We enjoy our fellowship with Your Son within us, Jesus Christ our Lord (1 Corinthians 1:9). There is no human relationship that comes close to our union with You. You are our all-sufficient Creator, Provider, Sustainer, Savior, Protector, Comfort, Peace, and Joy.

Thought for the Day:

The Lord is our earthly provision and our eternal inheritance, and He does not lie to us like people do; He never does anything that is disappointing, because He plants a seed for a miracle in every trial we face; He does all that He promises to do, as well as sustains us through His assurances to us, which never fail to come to pass.

- 2 Corinthians 1:20; Numbers 23:19
