Joyful Appreciation

 Magnolia Trees, Springtime, Pink Flowers

God enables us to live worthy of the new life He shares with us, because we want to please Him in every way with our thoughts, words, and actions (Philippians 2:12-13). We learn to give joyful appreciation to Him for qualifying us to share in His inheritance with Jesus, God’s only begotten Son (Colossians 1:12).

Our Father God rescues us from the dominion of satanic darkness and brings us out into His Kingdom of light through the Son of His love (Colossians 1:13). He provides us with blessings that exceed our wildest imagination (Ephesians 3:20-21). Our heart rejoices in the Lord, and we shout out our praises to Him day and night.

We delight in His deliverance of our body, soul, and spirit, through Jesus’ death and resurrection. There is no source of salvation or goodness on this earth that is better than the life God provides for those who love Him and keep His commandments (1 John 5:3; 1 Samuel 2:1-2).

We cannot thank God enough for the faithful ministers He placed in our life to share the Good News of the Gospel with us. We always thank Him for who He is as our Heavenly Father to all His adopted children, and for the love of Jesus who sacrificed His life for us all.

He weighs our words and deeds as He searches our heart to see if there is any wicked way in us (Psalm 139:23-24). He arms us with His strength, because although we are incapable of bearing lasting fruit on our own, when He abides within us, all things are possible for us through Him (Matthew 19:26).

The Lord brings death and makes us alive, sends poverty and wealth, sets the earth on its foundations because they are His, humbles the proud and exalts the humble, raises the poor from the dust and the sick from the ash heap – seating them with princes and giving them honor and inheritance with King Jesus (1 Samuel 2:6-8).

When we submit our life to Jesus, our spirit, soul, and body are weak, hungry, and weary no more, because God supplies all our needs (1 Samuel 2:3-5). He sustains us with His power, inspires us with His wisdom, guides us by His Spirit, and loves us eternally and unconditionally. We could never thank Him enough for all He did and does for us now and in eternity.

Prayer:

Father God, thank You for the faith and love we have stored up in our heart because of the hope You give to us. You provide rewards and blessings for us in Heaven due to the true message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which passes down to each new generation by Your Spirit and Your Word. Thank You that He paid the debt we owed for our individual sins (Colossians 1:5-6).

Your Gospel is bearing fruit in the hearts of people everywhere, just as it has been in us since the day, on which we heard that Jesus died for us and for the whole world- for past, present, and future generations. Help us to truly comprehend Your grace – Your unmerited favor – that You shine on anyone willing to submit to Your plans and principles for our life (Colossians 1:3-4, 7).

Thoughts for the Day:

From the moment we submit our life to God’s control, He started to fill us with the knowledge of His will that is full of His wisdom and the understanding that He imparts to us by His Spirit. He also helps us to grow in our knowledge of Him and His ways, and He strengthens us by the power of His glorious might, which give us great patience and endurance.
