As women, when we live as a faithful wife, do not take part in slander, and are temperate in all things (1 Timothy 3:11), God uses us for His royal crown of glory (Isaiah 62:3). Virtuous women – single or married - are worth more that fine rubies (Proverbs 31:10).
We fortify our body with God’s strength. As God leads us, we minister to the poor and needy that we meet in our life (Proverbs 31:17). We make provision for our family in cold weather and make sure they have clean clothes to wear at all times (Proverbs 31:20-21). We teach our children by example how to parent with understanding and nurture, as well as how to live for God (Proverbs 31:28).
We speak Godly wisdom with kind words seasoned with grace (Proverbs 31:26). We have no anxiety because we trust God to hear our prayers, appreciate all He does for us, and follow Him alone as He leads us with His peace (Philippians 4:5-7). We have nothing to fear because God never leaves nor forsakes us (Joshua 1:9; Hebrews 13:5).
God calls all authentic Believers - male and female - to come away with Him as part of His beloved Bride (Song of Solomon 2:10). The Lord is our strength and shield, our heart trusts only in Him to help us. When we do, our soul is filled with abundant joy, and praise songs fill our mouth all day long (Psalm 28:7).
Our Heavenly Father loved us even while we were still sinners (Romans 5:8). The grace He blesses us with is not given in vain, but it enables us to tirelessly serve Him with our life, because we walk in His Spirit’s direction (1 Corinthians 14:33-35). We serve God with compassion and charity for others because that is how He loves us (1 Corinthians 16:14).
Prayer:
Father God, thank You for providing solace for us during the wearying trials that assail us during this lifetime (Psalm 73:26). When our body and soul threaten to give up on us, we come to You because You are our strength and inheritance forever (Psalm 73:26). When we look to You, our burdens lighten, and we walk in Your ways, so we have nothing about which to fear or to feel shame (Psalm 34:5).
Your works are so marvelous (Psalm 9:1), and we know this from first-hand experience. We can testify of Your goodness because of Your loving kindness to us all the days of our life. You possess the reins of our life from before we even left our mother’s womb. We praise You because we are amazingly and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:13-14). Thank You that we can accomplish everything You call on us to do, because You strengthen us to perform for You every good work (Philippians 4:13).
Thoughts for the Day:
We are God’s creation, made in Christ Jesus to do His will for our life, which He preordained before we were even born (Ephesians 2:10). He calls on us all to focus only on those issues and thoughts which are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, praiseworthy, and virtuous as well as to praise Him for who He is and what He did and continues to do for us (Philippians 4:8).
