Seeking God’s Kingdom as well as His righteousness, guarantees us His provision of all our needs (Matthew 6:33). His supply may not be exactly what we ask for in our prayers; but since He knows the end from the beginning of our life (Isaiah 46:10), He knows better than we do what we really need.
It is impossible to please God unless we have faith in His faithfulness to us. We must believe (1) that He is, and (2) that He rewards everyone who diligently walks in His will for each moment of our day (Hebrews 11:6). Of course, with the Holy Spirit abiding within us, this is not hard to do.
When we continually seek the Lord’s face (1 Chronicles 16:11), we are totally fixed on His gaze and guidance for us. He pours out His strength to us, and we can do everything He plans for our day (Philippians 3:13). Sometimes, we need to stretch our self physically, emotionally, or mentally, but we can do all things because He dwells in our reborn spirit by His Spirit (Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 2:10).
If we fail to seek the Lord, we fall into the satanic trap designed to sidetrack us from the real reason God brought us to the earth. God loves those who love Him and who seek Him with their whole heart (Jeremiah 29:13; Proverbs 8:17; Deuteronomy 4:29).
After a while of seeking the Lord each moment of the day, we realize that He is our personal God, our soul thirst for Him (Psalm 42:;1), and our body longs for Him as if we are barely surviving in a desert land void of water and vegetation (Psalm 63:1).
Prayer:
Father God, we cannot thank You enough that when we seek You, we find You within and without; when we knock, You widely open the door for us; and when we ask, You meet our needs. You are ready, willing, and able to help us (Matthew 7:7-8). You do not always give us what we think is best, but You always give us what we really need (Ephesians 3:20-21).
When we realize the power inherent in the blood of Your sacrificial Lamb (Jesus), and in His precious and holy name, we are eager to put our trust in Your plans for our life. You have never forsaken anyone who seeks Your face (Psalm 9:10; Hebrews 13:5). Remind us to seek You while You may be found (Isaiah 55:6-7). The window of opportunity between now and the end time events prophesied in Your Word is closing quickly.
Thought for the Day:
I am so looking forward to my graduation day, when I finish out this school of "hard knocks" that we call life. Death is not the end, but it is our resurrection day. We will be like King Jesus in our immortal body, when we see Him face-to-face (1 Corinthians 13:12), and we will continue to abide with Him through the rest of eternity, which every authentic Born Again Believer enjoys even now on this earth.
